Approach
My practice integrates psychotherapy with medication management. I believe that lasting change comes from understanding the patterns that underlie psychiatric distress. Each treatment is individualized, and I work collaboratively with my patients to develop a plan that reflects their goals, values, and circumstances.
I draw on training in insight-oriented and cognitive therapies, evidence-based pharmacotherapy, and my background as a researcher that keeps my practice informed by the latest developments in the field. When clinically appropriate, I consult on interventional psychiatry options such as TMS and ketamine treatments.
01
Initial evaluation
A comprehensive evaluation to review your history, current concerns, prior treatment, and goals for care — and to collaboratively develop a treatment plan. This typically takes one to two sessions.
02
Psychotherapy and medication management
Combined psychotherapy and medication management for patients seeking an integrated approach to care. These sessions are 50 minutes long.
03
Medication management
Thoughtful, evidence-based medication management for patients who may benefit from pharmacotherapy. For patients who are working with an outside therapist, I coordinate closely to ensure that treatment is aligned and cohesive. These sessions are 30 minutes long.
